I get new searchtools set as my standard search engine without my permission, and I can't get them removed. I should also mention that my standard browser, Google Chrome is having many issues. I've tried to do many scans with Malware Bytes, Adware Bytes & Avast PC Cleanup, but it keeps coming back, and my computer seems to slow down and have errors when I launch games and such. At one point I managed to get the virus removed (temporary)! And then it worked fine, but it came back. I've had this issue for a few months now, and at first I didn't really realize that it was a virus until I found out this only happened to my computer.įor some reason it made my brother get bad connection as well. In reality, it would be a massive surprise to see the PlayStation 5 released before 2019 or even 2020, by which time new technologies should result in a big generational leap forward between the PS4 and PS5. There’s also the fact that the Xbox One X’s launch could help boost PS4 Pro sales through developers working on more multi-platform 4K/HDR-enabled games. While this sounds unlikely, it’s worth remembering that Thong is the same person who correctly predicted both the PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro.īut with the PlayStation 4 Pro having only just released in November last year, many are skeptical about the chances of a PS5 arriving within the next 18 months. ![]() ![]() When the interviewer then asked about the PlayStation 5, Layden said it would “probably be some time” before the next generation console arrives.īack in May, Macquarie Capital Securities analyst Damian Thong predicted that the PS5 would arrive sometime during the second half of 2018. Each of our games will continue to run on the classic PS4 and possibly slightly better on the Pro.” Add to this a more stable image rate and larger hard disk space. “The Pro is really only to offer advantages such as 4K resolutions and HMD for players who can and want to use that. With so much attention now on Microsoft and its upcoming Xbox One X console, what does the near future hold for Sony? There have been suggestions that the Japanese company could release its PlayStation 5 as earlier as next year as a response to Microsoft’s 4K machine, but president Shawn Layden says the PS5 won’t arrive for “some time.”ĭuring an interview with German site, Layden was asked if we can ever expect to see games released exclusively for the PlayStation 4 Pro, to which he replied, “That will never happen.” Thank you for your time, and for any help that you may be able to provide. I will, therefore, wait until I hear from you before doing anything else. I will not provide any system information now, since I believe that you have a scan tool that will give you exactly the information that you need to attempt to analyze this issue. Nevertheless, the fact that I still can not run the DrWeb scan (and that, following the crash which attempting to run that scan precipitated, the CPU temperature display has stopped working) is worrisome. I would like to add that the crashing has become less frequent since I ran the scans under Brodi's direction. This, plus the shutting down, are the obvious symptoms. Since attempting to run certain scans (first a "MalwareBytes 3 Premium" scan, which uses the powerful version of their scan engine, and a little while ago a DrWeb scan), this display is black (in other words, it - and perhaps its functionality - has been turned off by some sort of modification in the operating system or something like that). My PC has a display on the front of the console that displays things like CPU temperature and fan activity. I imagine that this is either due to overheating of the processor, or overwhelming the processor (which may be the same thing). It appears that when the scan reaches a certain block of data, the PC shuts down. This happens occasionally for no obvious reason that I can see, but more predictably when I try to run certain malware scans (such as DrWeb). What is happening is that my PC shuts down suddenly. First, let me say that, having worked through the scans, Broni has certified my PC as being malware free, hence that is apparently not the issue.
